Keep "Humming"

Humming is a remarkable phenomenon, both simple and thoughtful in its essence. If you possess a voice and the ability to speak, you possess the capacity to hum. Universally common across human beings, humming is a natural impulse, often arising as a spontaneous and involuntary reaction. During humming, alternative thoughts are silenced, offering a brief relief from the intellectual noise of everyday life.

Psychologically, the act of humming holds significant implications for human behaviour and emotional regulation. Spontaneous humming can be presumed to be a biological reaction to modulate emotions and ease stress. Functioning as a form of self-soothing, humming aids in inducing a sense of calmness and tranquillity. Moreover, experimental studies have demonstrated its efficacy in enhancing working memory—a cognitive function necessary for short-term information memory. Commonly utilised to strengthen focus and concentration, humming can be considered as a subtle background noise that eases distractions and nurtures task engagement.

Beyond its psychological effects, humming exerts substantial physiological benefits. Research reveals its capacity to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and improve sleep quality. Notable reductions in heart rate and blood pressure were also observed. Furthermore, humming triggers the release of neurochemicals such as oxytocin, renowned for its mood-enhancing properties. In various contexts, humming emerges as a survival mechanism during periods of emotional distress, including episodes of nervousness, anxiety, and fear. Its intensity can vary from subtle vibrations to profound resonance, serving as a constant companion in maintaining focus amidst complex tasks.

Surprisingly, humming extends its therapeutic reach as an effective stressbuster. Scientific research validates its role in improving stress levels, increasing sleep duration and quality, and regulating blood pressure. Additionally, humming raises lymphatic circulation, activates the release of endorphins, simplifies neuroplasticity by shaping new neural pathways, and strengthens blood platelet production. Dr Trived points out the significance of humming in stimulating the release of nitric oxide—a fundamental chemical moderator associated with vasodilation and cardiovascular health.

In outline, the act of humming goes above mere vocalization; it symbolizes a holistic approach to well-being, interlacing psychological support with physiological transformation. As a continuing testament to its numerous benefits, the encouragement to "Keep Humming!!!" echoes as a testament to its sustaining significance in human experience.

The Myth Of Green Energy or Clean Energy

The terms green energy and renewable energy are often used frequently. But there is one essential difference between them. Most green energy sources are also renewable. Not all renewable energy sources are considered entirely green.

Clean energy, when used, does not pollute the atmosphere; creating little or no greenhouse gases. It’s a myth. At a glance, it may look cleaner, but establishing clean energy resources is never cleaner. It’s a newer business, a politically backed myth

Take the case of a Lithium battery used in electric cars. An average of 500 Ton of earth need to be mined and processed to make lithium for a single battery. To purify Lithium from the ore, it needs 75 loads of Acid. Imagine the number of fossil fuels and nuclear energy used for the mining and processing of lithium.  Adding to the above, A lithium battery also contains elements like Nickel, Manganese, Cobalt, Copper, Aluminium, steel & plastic. Imagine the usage of Hydrocarbon fuel and electricity used in the process of refining the elements for making the battery. All the non-clean polluting energy (carbon footprint) involved for a car's clean energy output of 5 years. It’s totally illogical.

A similar process is applicable for manufacturing and establishing wind farms and solar power fields. As per the business studies on renewable energy, The average life of a wind turbine or solar field is 25 years. The installation will take an average of 15 years to make a breakthrough against the carbon footprint it generated while manufacturing and establishing the equipment; with 100% efficiency. Remember these fields have an efficiency ranging from 30% to 50 %

The above statistics are for the manufacturing and installation of renewable or clean energy resources. After the life expectancy,  renewable energy equipment is very difficult to recycle. it usually ends up in junkyards or  It needs huge energy to convert those parts to make them non-toxic; to earth beings.

Renewable energy is not clean as you think. It is also not free of cost. It takes its own sweet carbon footprint indirectly. Then the question arises, why promote green energy? It’s a new business model backed by policymakers. New high-value markets are open as people become more aware and conscious of hydrocarbon pollution and climate change. People are that are ready to invest blindly.  In the pretext of saving the world.

The term fossil fuel is also fun, usually, the oldest fossils are found 2 to 2.5 Km beneath the sea bed. But current crude oil rigs are operating beyond 3.2 Km beneath the sea bed

Democratically Elected Dictators

Abraham Lincoln famously defined democracy as "Of the people, by the people, for the people". The word democracy comes from the Greek words "demos", meaning people, and "Kratos" meaning power; so democracy can be thought of as "power of the people"; a way of governing which depends on the will of the people. A democracy is a government in which ultimate power is invested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through representation.

In a strong democracy, people /citizens govern themselves to the greatest extent possible rather than delegate their power and responsibility to representatives acting in their names. For people to govern themselves, they must be free to express themselves openly, publicly, and repeatedly in speech and in writing.

Despite democracy’s popularity around the globe, it is important to remember that democracies can easily fail without proper upkeep. Dictators may rise to power in democracy in several ways.

Democracies are considered by the lively but peaceful debate between a variety of political parties and interest groups. But sometimes, these political groups begin disagreeing with each other so much that they no longer believe that compromise with the other group is possible. When the political arena no longer becomes about compromise, it becomes a matter of dominating by one group over the other. This allows violent or extremist groups to take over politics instead.

One means is to use democracy against itself. In this situation, a specific party wins an election and then uses its position as the leader of the government to curtail democratic rights,

Democracies can also fall into dictatorships when voters become politically uninterested. They pull out themselves from partaking in the political process. This is a growing problem in many democracies, as indicated by falling voter turnouts across much of the democratic world. This is very dangerous. This presents an opportunity for authoritarian-minded political leaders to start curtailing political rights for minority groups. This can then start a backslide into a dictatorship when the democratic voice becomes permanently suppressed, eliminating any kind of recourse against undemocratic policies such as violations of free speech.

Though India is a multiparty democracy, as per freedomhouse.org  “The government has presided over discriminatory policies and a rise in persecution affecting the minority population. The constitution guarantees civil liberties including freedom of expression and freedom of religion, but harassment of journalists, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and other government critics has increased significantly under the current leadership. Minorities, scheduled castes (Dalits), and scheduled tribes (Adivasis) remain economically and socially marginalized.

Let’s keep ourselves politically literate, to be democratic

Industry 4.0, A mis-understood concept

In 2006, the German government presented its “High-Tech Strategy” at Hannover Messe. The Industry 4.0 initiative is just one part of a 10-point high-tech plan in Germany’s strategy to be the leading supplier of products in a number of disciplines. The 10-point plan was created in 2006 and focuses on academia, research institutions and industry. In ‘Die Neue Hightech-Strategie Innovationen für Deutschland’, the government explained how it aimed to drive innovation, which wasn’t just a matter of technological innovation but also about ‘social innovation’ with society overall put at the center, a bit like Japan’s Society 5.0.

The business potential of the 4th industrial revolution lies not only in operational process optimization, but also in its services for a wide range of applications. The Internet of Things is therefore complemented by the so-called “Internet of Services”, because smart products offer their capabilities as intelligent services (Industrie 4.0: Mit dem Internet der Dinge auf dem Weg zur 4. industriellen Revolution, 2011)

Industry 4.0 is the digital transformation of manufacturing/production and related industries and value creation processes.

Cyber-physical systems form the basis of Industry 4.0. it refers to the intelligent networking of machines and processes for industry with the help of information and communication technology. Industry 4.0 is a shift from a central industrial control system to one where smart products define the production steps

To understand Industry 4.0, it is essential to see the full value chain which includes suppliers and the origins of the materials and components needed for various forms of smart manufacturing, the end-to-end digital supply chain and the final destination of all manufacturing/production, regardless of the number of intermediary steps and players: the end customer.

Industry 4.0 has been defined as “a name for the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies, including cyber-physical systems, the Internet of things, cloud computing and cognitive computing and creating the smart factory”.

The goal is to enable autonomous decision-making processes, monitor assets and processes in real-time, and enable equally real-time connected value creation networks through early involvement of stakeholders, and vertical and horizontal integration.

Industry 4.0 is a vision, policy, and concept in motion, with reference architectures & standardization

The majority of digitization and digitalization efforts, in reality, happen in the context of third and even second industrial revolution technologies/goals. Industry 4.0 is not ‘something’ you realize overnight. Just as is the case with IoT deployments you need a strategic and staged approach. Industry 4.0 builds upon data models and data mapping across the mentioned end-to-end product life cyle and value stream. All the technologies in Industry 4.0 need to be seen in that perspective whereby integration is key.

With Industry 4.0, distributed data storage will become one of the main challenges in terms of security .Here are four design principles identified as integral to Industry 4.0

Interconnection — the ability of machines, devices, sensors, and people to connect and communicate with each other via the Internet of things, or the internet of people.

Information transparency — the transparency afforded by Industry 4.0 technology provides operators with comprehensive information to make decisions. Inter-connectivity allows operators to collect immense amounts of data and information from all points in the manufacturing process, identify key areas that can benefit from improvement to increase functionality

Technical assistance — the technological facility of systems to assist humans in decision-making and problem-solving, and the ability to help humans with difficult or unsafe tasks

Decentralized decisions — the ability of cyber physical systems to make decisions on their own and to perform their tasks as autonomously as possible. Only in the case of exceptions, interference, or conflicting goals, are tasks delegated to a higher level

In a short statement , Industry 4.0 is not about digitalization , it’s all about transparent interconnections and decentralized decision making with the help of cybernetics , to create a world class value chain

How choice of food will make you super human

Most of the people are aware that a host of bacteria, archaea and fungi  live in the digestive tracts of humans and other animals including insects.  Those are called microbiome. Or simply called Gut microbiota, Because they exist in our digestive system. Those reaches our digestive system through the food we consume .

Most gut microorganisms help us in digesting our food properly  by fermenting dietary fibre into fatty acids which are then absorbed by the humans. Intestinal bacteria also play a role in creating vitamins as well as absorbing various nutrients needed for our body

Studies have shown that microbiome may play a role in mental health and neurological conditions such as autism, epilepsy, and depression by interacting with our nervous system and even releasing molecules that make their way to the brain. Recent years of research are revealing how variations and changes in the composition of the gut microbiota influence normal physiology and contribute to diseases ranging from inflammation to obesity. Data now indicate that the gut microbiota also communicates with brain possibly through our neuro systems thereby influences Human function and behaviour. Meaning intestinal microbiota are linked to mood, behaviour, and cognition.

BUGS AS DRUGS?

Of course, any discussion of how diet might influence the microbiome and thus alter mental health naturally leads to the idea of therapeutics. Of course, any discussion of how diet might influence the microbiome and thus alter mental health naturally leads to the idea of therapeutics.

In fact, many argue that psychobiotics have been around for a long time and that physicians have already been using them without even realizing it. Since the early 1900s, neurologists have known that putting children with epilepsy on a specific diet can reduce their seizures. This so-called ketogenic diet is low in carbohydrates and high in protein and fat. But scientists have never really understood how it works. It’s incredibly appealing to think that adjustments to diet or your gut microbiome could help treat neurological disease.

In a short bold statement , it’s the microbiome in the gut that makes the identity of the living being because The particular gastrointestinal microbes are completely unique to individual living animals .

 SUPER HUMANS?

More studies into this field could develop artificial or genetically modified microorganisms which could synthesise food and generate  enzymes which could suggest brain to act smartly and efficiently

Perspective of life

For a small amount of perspective at this moment, imagine you were born in 1900.
When you are 14, World War I starts, and ends on your 18th birthday with 22 million people killed. Later in the year, a Spanish Flu epidemic hits the planet and runs until you are 20. Fifty million people die from it in those two years. Yes, 50 million.
When you're 29, the Great Depression begins. Unemployment hits 25%, global GDP drops 27%. That runs until you are 33. The country nearly collapses along with the world economy.
When you turn 39, World War II starts. You aren’t even over the hill yet. When you're 41, the United States is fully pulled into WWII. Between your 39th and 45th birthday, 75 million people perish in the war and the Holocaust kills six million.
At 52, the Korean War starts and five million perish.
At 64 the Vietnam War begins, and it doesn’t end for many years. Four million people die in that conflict.
Approaching your 62nd birthday you have the Cuban Missile Crisis, a tipping point in the Cold War. Life on our planet, as we know it, could well have ended. Great leaders prevented that from happening.
As you turn 75, the Vietnam War finally ends. Think of everyone on the planet born in 1900. How do you survive all of that? A kid in 1985 didn’t think their 85 year old grandparent understood how hard school was. Yet those grandparents (and now great grandparents) survived through everything listed above.

Perspective is an amazing art. Let’s try and keep things in perspective. Let’s be smart, help each other out, and we will get through all of this.” In the history of the world, there has never been a storm that lasted.

*This too, shall pass.

We are real and true always !!!

An old man in soiled dress was traveling in an AC coach of the train. The ticket Inspector came to him and asked for the ticket. The old man started searching for the ticket inside his bag.

“It should be here” the old man mumbled.

The examiner said with displeasure as the old man continued his search. “You should show me your ticket when I return”

The examiner guessed that the old man was traveling without the ticket. The examiner returned a few minutes later and the old man showed his AC class ticket. The examiner felt guilty
“I should not have judged a person by his appearance in first glance” he thought to himself

When the train arrived at the station, the examiner helped him out. The old man called a porter to pick up his luggage. The porter took the luggage but quickly put it down. He walked to the next compartment and picked up a nicely dressed woman's luggage and walked with them.

What do you think about the Porter?

Upon seeing this, the examiner picked up the luggage of the old man and offered to take a taxi. The old man thanked the examiner and given him some money and told “Please give it to the porter and advise him not to judge anyone with the appearance”.

When the returning examiner saw the porter, he said, "What you did was not right. In any case, the old man told me to give this money to you and asked me to tell you, not to judge anyone in the guise “

“I'm sorry sir”, the porter said “In the midst of the rush I left to tell you, it was a blind woman, I take their luggage regularly. I do not take any wages from her. If you happen to see the old man, you should tell him. Do not judge anyone in a glance

We think we are real and true always, in that pride, we often try to find fault with others.
Be like a fruit-bearing tree that, when stoned, produces fruit. Behaviours and attitudes should be beautiful than garden. Read good books. Perhaps a little word of it can cause a stir in the heart. Our adornment should be of gold or silver, but of modesty, humility, patience, kindness, and charity

Cheating, hatred and jealousy have no place in a healthy body. Think good even in the middle of the storm. Understand that everyone has problems just like ours. Calm the mind. If we have done something wrong in the past, take a lesson from it and let them go. Frustration is the worst enemy, and it has the power to destroy peace of mind

We cannot change the past. We don't know what will happen in the future, then why we grieve!!!
